Please plan to attend the
Select Board meeting on Monday Jan. 14th at 7PM, third floor of Town Hall.
The Governor recently said that Biomass is his least favorite form of renewable energy, and that the decision to build a biomass plant be a decision that must be weighed carefully by the potential host community. Ask yourself when were you asked if this facility was right for our community, who knocked on your door or asked your opinion?
During the Citizens Comment Time a member of our group has been given the opportunity to speak on behalf of citizens of the community who feel strongly that the power plant being proposed for North Springfield is not acceptable for here, or anywhere. We would appreciate your attendance as a show of support for citizens against the sacrifice of our community.
Please check for emails Monday afternoon for any updated changes in this event.
